Daisy had a rough start to life, and wasn't well taken care of. She was neglected, scared of everything and everyone, and her hooves were so long they looked like elf feet. We took her in, bonded with her, took care of her, and within a week she had warmed up to us, and now she is the most social donkey we have!
Ottis joined our farm with his bonded friend, Crazy Horse! Their owners were moving out of country and were having a hard time rehoming them together. It's never good to separate bonded donkeys, so we took them in with open arms and they fit in instantly with the other animals.
Crazy Horse and Ottis joined our farm and taught our other donkeys how to play. They run around with a ball in their mouth playing tug a war and are always fun to watch.
