River joined us from Brandon MB. River's past career was a barrel racing horse. After a serious injury to her hoof from stepping on a nail, her career as a barrel racer was over. She retired to our farm where her new career entails eating hay, relaxing, and loving on her visitors.
Rainy is our kind hearted Mamma. Rainy was our first horse, who joined us after our youngest boy was born. Rainy instantly bonded with our baby, and enjoyed making him laugh and tickling his feet.
Strider is our kind and spirited boy. Strider loves to give pony rides and is the first one at the gate when he sees us coming with a halter and rope. We like to think of Strider as our big gentle dog!
Boomer was our first donkey, who we got to keep the coyotes away and protect our horses. I spent the winter bonding with Boomer and getting to know him, working with him, and doing research on donkeys. He became my best friend and developed my love for donkeys, which lead us to growing Boomer's and making it what it is today.
Sparky is our goofy boy that enjoy kisses on the nose. Sparky will always show his teeth and give you a smile. Sparky bonded with Boomer, and the two are best friends.
Marnie is our sweet Mamma, who came to us pregnant. Before having her baby, she bonded with one of our rescued donkey's, taking her under her wing and making her feel safe. Marnie has a kind and caring heart and is a great Mamma.
Gus is Marnie's baby that was born on our farm. It was one of the most exciting days for us, and we instantly fell in love with the giant ears! Gus loves to chase us around on our quads.
Cadence loves her butt scratches and will stop directly in front of you and shove up against you until you scratch her butt. She is quirky and silly, and everyone loves Cadence!
Daisy had a rough start to life, and wasn't well taken care of. She was neglected, scared of everything and everyone, and her hooves were so long they looked like elf feet. We took her in, bonded with her, took care of her, and within a week she had warmed up to us, and now she is the most social donkey we have!
Ottis joined our farm with his bonded friend, Crazy Horse! Their owners were moving out of country and were having a hard time rehoming them together. It's never good to separate bonded donkeys, so we took them in with open arms and they fit in instantly with the other animals.
Crazy Horse and Ottis joined our farm and taught our other donkeys how to play. They run around with a ball in their mouth playing tug a war and are always fun to watch.
Blue is our own personal dinosaur, and we have all bonded with him. People are amazed at how loving and kind he is. Blue loves hugs and is great at supervising us while we are engaged in farm projects! Our hope is to one day have an entire emu army in our backyard!
Benny lost his Mamma during the winter of 2022. We took Benny in and bottle fed him. Benny doesnt know that he is a cow, he likes to be with the donkeys!
We have a huge variety of Chickens! Our chickens are all free range and there is often chicks and egg collecting as well! We are always hatching chicks to give kids the chance to experience the process of eggs hatching.
What's a farm without farm cats?! We have 6 cats, all are amazing and we adore them. We have had kittens dropped off over the years that have needed to be bottle fed and cared for, kittens found abandoned, and we love them and give them what they need! Our cats all love attention and will jump into your arms for attention! Our farm cats are named Mila, Casey, Hamlet, Elsa, Romeo and Nugget.
Clyde is our goofy sweet llama. He is full of personality and will love you if you give him the time and bond with him. Clyde will do anything for treats and loves to take selfies!
Toby is our alpaca. He and Clyde bonded instantly and are now best friends. Toby loves water and will often be found in his waterer having a bath.
Smiley has the sweetest genetic trait, which is where he gets his name! Smiley loves to smile! Smiley often looks out for Alaska, and allows her to do all of the hard work while he lays back and watches!
Meet Dorris! Dorris is a pot belly pig that joined us spring 2023. Dorris's owners had recently had a newborn and didnt have the time for her anymore. Dorris is full of personality and she has a hard time separating from her goat friends!
