Thank you to Julie Mckie for all of your dedication and hard work on our farm!  This amazing young lady has been a part of our team for the last 4 years, starting when she was only 12 years old! We are so grateful to have such a high positive energy around us every day, and someone with so much love for our animals. Her laugh brightens any room. Your energy and motivation is contagious, and we are so lucky to have such an amazing young woman be apart of our farm family!  It was a pleasure having you on our farm more this summer, and we look forward to having you back next summer! We love you Julie, you will always be a part of a family and hold a special place in our hearts (the animals too!!!).  Thank you for being so truly amazing, never stop being you Julie! 

We also want to thank Julie's family, for their time and hard work at our events throughout the summer! Andrea, Andrew, Carson and Elliot, thank you all for being so amazing, we are so grateful to have you in our lives and a part of Boomer's Family! We truly hope that we will have the pleasure of having Julie joining us again next summer, as her smile and laugh is something the we hope to never be without!

Christy was a huge support of our farm this past summer, we met Christy years ago, as our sons are best friends. Christy spent a lot of her summer here with us, helping out with tours and chores, and was such an amazing Princess Elsa at a couple of our events! Christy is amazing with kids, and learned very quickly working at the farm! Christy is also a very artistic person, with many wonderful ideas, and she was always a part of helping us plan events and come up with new ideas for the farm! We were also lucky to have her daughter Riley help us out on our farm this summer at events, and we truly appreciated all of your hard work and time you gave to our farm Riley! We have made many wonderful memories this past summer, and we hope that Christy will join us again next summer! Your family has truly become family to us!

Summer 2022, we had the pleasure of taking in a student from Austria to complete his internship for his schooling. Julius Tucek worked the farm, provided tours, cared for the animals, and quickly became part of our family. We all had a great learning experience and created so many wonderful memories. Julius will be returned for the summer of 2023 to finish his schooling, and we were so happy to have him! We stay connected with Julius and his family to this day, and we hope to welcome him back for a visit in the near future. Julius has completed his schooling and has since started a hot air balloon business in Austria. We are so proud of Julius, and our entire family miss him greatly!

During the summer of 2026, Julius returned to his us, his Canadian Family. Julius spent a few weeks here with us, making many more memories, and of course he couldn't resist the newest baby donkeys! When we couldn't find Julius, he was out in the bush playing guitar with the donkeys. Thank you for visiting again Julius, we hope that you will be back again next summer!

Alice Boaz visited our farm during a High School Field Trip during Spring 2026, and emailed us later that day requesting to volunteer at our farm for the summer, as she had fallen in love with our animals and our farm. We welcomed her in with open arms, and it made summer so much more enjoyable! Thank you for all of your help over the summer Alice, we hope to see you back next summer!

We are so grateful to have the amazing support of Steven, who manages his Family Business Sunset  Spray. Steven volunteers at our events and always goes above and beyond. Steven also donates his time and supplies every spring by spraying our barns for bugs, using an animal safe remedy, this helps our animals stay comfortable all summer. Along with other donations to our farm, Steven is a huge support and we appreciate everything that you do for us!

Pete has been around our farm since we first opened to the public. We actually met Pete when his family brought him to our farm for a tour on Father's Day! Pete expressed his love of animals, and we encouraged him to come back anytime. Pete then began volunteering and working/training with our horses, and he has been apart of our Boomer's Family since the first day we met him! Pete continues to be around helping out with the animals and helping with chores and projects, he is always around to lend a hand when we need it! Many visitors that have came to our farm this past summer, may have met Pete, especially if you were here for one of our events! You'll often see Pete around, wearing a cowboy hat, with a saddled horse, offering horse rides! Pete has been amazing with our visitors, and everyone that crosses paths with Pete, will walk away with a smile on their face! Thank you for all of your support Pete!

We met Allison when we first opened our farm to the public, she is a regular visitor and brings her family for tours very often throughout the summers, and even attended winter events! Allison enjoys being around our animals, and they enjoy being around her! This summer, Allison offered to help us out during our Grand Re-Opening event, and thank goodness for her, as she was a huge help during our busiest event yet! Allison and her family are always the first to sponsor pedicures for our horses and donkeys, which we can’t express how much we appreciate it! It’s such a joy to have Allison and her family around, and we hope that she continues to be apart of our Boomer’s Family.

Jayne was first hired to face paint at our Grand Re-opening event, summer of 2025.  Jayne and her crew showed up in their funky van, and was set up and ready to go immediately.  Jayne is an amazing artist, she is creative and so great with children, everyone who came across her chair had only good things to say about her! After spending time at our farm with her crew, Jayne volunteered in planning our Fall event, and came up with many wonderful and unique ideas to help us fundraise. Jayne was a huge support and went above and beyond in helping out our cause. At our Fall event, she volunteered her time to Face Paint for the event, alongside all of the extra fundraiser activities that she worked on. Jayne is an amazing and caring person and we are so grateful that we met her, and look forward to working with her at our future events.
